Description

Louis Gorèt had his workshop in Paris between 1754-1787/89. It was during this time he created this elaborately decorated pendule. The enamel dial, with Roman and Arabic numerals and the days of the week, is flanked by two ormolu cornucopias. The dial is crowned with a bow and topped with a basket full of flowers and grapes.
