Theo Daatselaar started an antique business in 1978 with his former partner Ronald Godhelp in the heart of the city Utrecht under the name Daatselaar & Godhelp Antiques. During the years they built the business to a higher level and became an understanding in the Dutch Art world. In 2008 Theo Daatselaar moved from Utrecht to Zaltbommel where he now runs his own art business in a beautiful gallery. In 2009 his daughter Ilse Daatselaar joined the company.

With his collection Theo Daatselaar shows that he is a real generalist. The collection exists among others of high quality Dutch furniture from the 18th and early 19th century, like beautiful Louis Seize furniture, rare clocks, silver objects, Chinese and Japanese ceramics, combined with paintings from the 17th, 18th and 19th century, but also modern and impressionistic work.

During the years Theo Daatselaar has built up an impressive network in the antique business. For many clients he is an agent and advisor for purchasing and selling antiques. Besides being a respected antique dealer Theo Daatselaar is also an officially certified appraiser and can conduct valuations for probate and insurance purposes.
